Hello Mushroom lovers!!

 

   Thank you so much for all of your support.

 My name is Kanako. I moved from Japan to the United States when I was 20 years old.

   I spent a lot of time in woods in my youth near my family home. I've always been fasenated with nature, animals, insects and mysterious creatures.

 Mushrooms are one of the most interesting creatures to me...

   6 years ago I was going through a very difficult time and I realized that it's very important to do what I love and follow my heart. This is when Mushroom Zen was born!

Do you know the meaning of Zen (禅) ?

 Zen is a very strong word in Japan. 

It means enlightenment . 

 Since I have started to pursue my art career I strive to improve each day. I push myself to the stage of enlightenment of my art.

 I put a lot of love, time and energy into each piece I create. I hope you'll feel the great energy I put into my pieces when you receive one of my creations!
